We need both Vision to move forward and contentment .
A key to contentment is to CELEBRATE what you have and refuse to COMPLAIN about what you don’t have.
(Numbers 11:4 MB) The riffraff among the people had a craving and soon they had the people of Israel whining, “Why can’t we have meat? We ate fish in Egypt - and got it free! - to say nothing of the cucumbers and melons, the leeks and onions and garlic. But nothing tastes good out here; all we get is manna, manna, manna. Manna was a reedlike substance with a shiny appearance like resin. The people went around collecting it and ground it between stones or pounded it fine in a mortar. Then they boiled it in a pot and shaped it into cakes. It tasted like a delicacy cooked in olive oil. When the dew fell on the camp at night, the manna was right there with it.
Contentment is NOT complacency
(Philippians 4:11) I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through him who gives me strength.
Definition of contentment: Being independent of circumstances around us, and dependent on Jesus within us.
Key to Moving Life Forward- is to be CONTENT with the small gains in the right direction.
