Thrive - Week 3

Kingdom of God = SEED, TIME, and HARVEST

(Genesis 8:22) - While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

Law of Seed, Time and Harvest is always working for you or against you.

1. Your Needs Always Show Up As A Seed

(Philippians 4:19) - And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.

(2 Corinthians 9:10) - God is the one who supplies seed for the farmer and then bread to eat. In the same way, he will supply and increase your resources and then produce a great harvest of generosity in you.

2. I was Created to be a Sower

Romans 12:1-6 - So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.

3. Your Seed Feeds Your Future

Ecclesiastes 11:1 (NLV) - The Ways of a Wise Man - Throw your bread upon the waters, for you will find it after many days.

Ecclesiastes 11:1 (NLT) - Send your grain across the seas, and in time, profits will flow back to you.

Ecclesiastes 11:1 (MSG) - Be generous: Invest in acts of charity. Charity yields high returns.

WIN: We get to choose what kind of harvest we have by the seed we sow!!

Remember: A stingy planter gets a stingy crop; a lavish planter gets a lavish crop. I want each of you to take plenty of time to think it over, and make up your own mind what you will give. God can pour on the blessings in astonishing ways so that you’re ready for anything and everything, more than just ready to do what needs to be done.
